How to Go to Disney World Without Breaking the Bank

A Disney vacation is a dream for many, but it can also feel like a hefty expense. Fortunately, there are several ways to save money while still enjoying all the magic! Here are my top tips to keep your Disney trip affordable and also making the most of your trip!
1. Book as Early as Possible
One of the best ways to save on your Disney trip is to book early. The earlier you book, the more options you have for discounts and availability on the resorts and room type your family desires. Plus, it gives you time to plan strategically and take advantage of lower prices on flights, hotels, and tickets. Early booking often means better deals and more flexibility in choosing your accommodations and travel dates. Also, with only $200 required for the deposit, you are then able to make payments from the time of booking up until 30 days before check-in.
2. Keep an Eye Out for Promotions (I Do This for FREE!)
Disney runs various promotions throughout the year, and keeping an eye out for these can save you a lot of money. As your travel agent, I monitor all available discounts and promotions for you at no additional charge! Most of my clients' reservations are updated with the promotions before they even check their email for that day!

3. Purchase Disney Gift Cards at Your Favorite Retailers at Discounts
A little-known hack is buying Disney gift cards at popular retailers like Target, Costco, or Sam’s Club, where they often offer discounts or bonus gift cards. By purchasing these gift cards at a lower price, you can prepay for your Disney expenses at a discount, making it easier to budget and save. For example, if you have the Target Red Card, you save 5% every purchase, so purchasing a $100 gift card will really only cost you $95. See where I'm going with this?
Always keep the cards until you do travel, as if you need to cancel, the money does go back onto the gift card!
4. Travel During the "Off-Season"

When you visit Disney during the off-season, you’ll not only avoid large crowds but also score better rates on accommodations, flights, and tickets. Now, it's true, there really isn't a "slow" season anymore at Walt Disney World, but to avoid paying the highest prices, you want to avoid times like Christmas, New Years, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, etc. The off-season typically falls during times when schools are in session, so think about visiting in late January through early February, or even in September. These times usually come with lower prices and shorter wait times for attractions.
